The clinicians at The Counseling Center are dedicated, expert therapists who volunteer their service out of a sense of love and personal mission. Each therapist also maintains a private practice — one of our requirements is that their work here is not their primary source of income, ensuring they come to us driven purely by commitment to community.

Managing emotional stress related to personal issues, relationships, school, or identity can be an overwhelming challenge for teens and adolescents. Our clinicians provide a safe, confidential space to work through these challenges with compassion and expertise.

Grief counseling helps people cope with loss and mourning following the death of a loved one, or with major life changes that trigger deep feelings of grief. We walk alongside you through the process of healing and adjustment.

The aim of divorce counseling is to help individuals adjust to new realities and process the emotional after-effects of separation. We help you find clarity, stability, and the strength to move forward.

The Counseling Center is committed to the principle that all children have equal access to a full array of mental health services. Our clinicians work with children in age-appropriate, supportive ways to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
📋 Psychological Testing
Psychological assessments evaluate a range of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement, personality, and neurological functioning. Our testing helps inform the right treatment path for each individual.
🙏 Pastoral Counseling
Our certified pastoral counselors bring theological training to their work and are particularly well-suited for those experiencing loss, terminal illness, or conflicts regarding religious beliefs and spiritual identity.
Educational Programming
The Counseling Center’s service to the community extends beyond individual therapy. Our staff offers lectures, seminars, and group experiences for companies, agencies, and organizations in the area. Religious and community service organizations turn to us for presentations and programs. Area colleges and universities have also designated The Counseling Center as an approved field placement site for the clinical supervision of graduate students in counseling and psychology.
